Collection reconstituant une série de premières pierres scellées à l’occasion d’inaugurations de chantiers. Ces premières pierres réunissent d’évidentes contradictions. Lors d’une cérémonie d’apparat, créée à partir de matériaux de chantier, cette pierre est posée par un représentant officiel sur d’autres qui la précèdent sur des fondations déjà engagées. A la fin de cette cérémonie, cette pierre est alors le plus souvent détruite sans qu’elle n’ait à un seul moment été utilisée comme on lui en aurait fait la promesse. Ces oppositions sont renforcées par la présentation de cette collection à l’intérieur d’un bâtiment déjà construit. Le visiteur oscille entre la position d’un officiel prêt à inaugurer et à célébrer une construction et celle d’être mis au pied d’un mur.
Chaque pierre porte le nom de la ville où elle a été posée originellement. Une des visées de cette collection est de réunir ces premières pierres au sein d’un même espace afin de former une nouvelle géographie. 

A collection re-creating a series of first stones sealed for construction site inaugurations.
These first stones have obvious contradictions. During an official ceremony, created using site materials, this stone is laid by an official representative on others preceding it on foundations already laid. At the end of this ceremony, this stone is then usually destroyed without having for a moment been used as promised. These contradictions are heightened by the presentation of this collection inside an already constructed building. The visitor wavers between the position of an official ready to inaugurate and celebrate a building and that of being put back up against the wall. Each stone bears the name of the city or town where it was originally laid. One of the aims of this collection is to gather these first stones together within one and the same space to form a new geography.
